How do I begin research using the library website?

Here are two suggestions:

1) You can find books and articles when conducting a search using the "Discovery” search box on the website's main page (a search using the Discovery tab searches everything the library has to offer). However, you can limit your search by material type if you select the appropriate limiter found to the left of the results page.  For example, checking "catalog only" will search only books and e-books from our collection.  You may also limit to scholarly, peer-reviewed articles, as well as other options.

2) If you prefer to limit your search to resources that apply to your topic or course, then try our subject-specific research guides. These research guides highlight the most applicable databases for your course, as well as provide you with materials from the library's print collection.
